OCtober with the FAT October 29 Razor -Fatip Piccolo Blade - (3) Soap - Stirling Electric Sheep Brush -30DC LE Post - Alum Cloudy day and a bit chilly but not too bad. Until the rain started toward the end of it. Oh well, I haven't melted yet from a little rain. It was nice to get home to a hot dinner, though, then a nice shave. Third time around with the Fatip and Sharp Star and the blade is still excellent and smooth. The Electric Sheep came out to play with the 30DC LE brush and I can tell I'm feeling normal again as it didn't clear out my sinuses this time. Jennifer really likes the scent of this one, which surprises me a bit, but hey, she has good taste. After all, look who she married. Three passes to near perfection and I'll call it a great finish to a great shave! Alum remained silent for all three shaves with the Fatip. No worries, no hassles, nothing but smooth shaves. Have a fantastic Wednesday tomorrow!

Well, in the final days to grab a Supply Injector at the old price, I find mine still slugging it out with the gran-pappy I1. This time each had a new Personna. The I1 was crummy. I could shave with it, but why. It is so pleasant with a Chick. I'd get rid of it if it didn't get better than this. I lightly corked the blade in the Supply on the shown felt block. I can't tell any difference one way or the other. No question, the Supply is easier to shave with. A little more blade feel than the I1 and easier to get on angle due to the bulbous cap. If you skin stretch well, ride the cap and roll the razor just till you get blade contact it's okay. Buffing action improves things. Still, half a face was enough for me. I picked up the Focus R28 Slim AL for the rest. Funny, the Schick I1 injector was the secondary tool most often used when I was learning edge forward shaving devices. I just never-ever thought I would be grabbing a shavette to back up my shave testing. Both these blades are heading for the bin. I can see why Supply is coming out with a new one. Did I say that the Supply folks will be on Shark Tank this Sunday night? What a great opportunity for the wet shaving community. I can't wait any longer, I'll be loading up a Schick Proline in the Supply for tomorrow. I can't say how wonderful it is for Andrew @Linuxguile to be the best source for these in the US. Based on those who have gone before me, I gave high expectations. Great shave with the Blood on Steel, maybe Tsuka (the real name) will make a showing on the Stirling Black Friday sale.

Tabac Tuesday SOTN I've had this vintage Segal razor for about a month but was nervous to try it out without a proprietary blade. As OCtober is drawing to an end, I figured why not go for it? I printed out the template and doctored a new Astra Green and went slow. Not the smoothest shave but I don't think my blade was perfectly trimmed. No nicks and no significant irritation is a victory lol. The tabac provided appropriate slickness and I'm pretty smooth for bed. I'll give it another go . Happy shaves.
