Unfortunately they aren't....they're the flash frozen ones....they actually turn out quite well, especially for this dish...
Oh, I'll let you slide this one time. But now you have my curiosity piqued. See to me Steak means grilled of course, along with fresh Shrimp on the grill. But steak, frozen shrimp and cheese on the grill? Seems someone is holding back a recipe here!

Nope, not holding back. It's no big secret or anything. I'll tell you the recipe, then I'll tell you how I do it. Steam shrimp, then peel Grill a steak to a doneness one step ahead of what you normally eat, however you normally marinate it When steaks are done, lay them on a baking sheet, and layer shrimp on top Layer Pepper Jack cheese on top of the shrimp Broil (500°) until cheese browns. Serve See? Really simple. Now, here's how I do it: Get about 1½" thick boneless ribeyes and sprinkle liberally with Montreal seasoning Steam shrimp in 50/50 white vinegar/water with a ton of Old Bay seasoning, then peel Grill steaks over searing hot fire to carmelize and brown the outside and fat, about 5-8 minutes to a very rare doneness Place steaks on baking sheet, layer with shrimp, then Pepper Jack Broil (500°) until cheese browns Eat until you feel like you'll explode, then eat some more Well, if you want some more, I just picked up the 2 bottles Dave was selling...

Mmmm. Food. Just had another burrito. There's only a tiny bit of the meat left - not even enough for one burrito. It's about time it's done. Thanks for encouraging me to spend money. I think I'll pass for now. I've got too much on hand to be picking up more. Self control. I'm proud of myself. Now who wants to buy some of my stuff? Was running around for a bit earlier.
