Thanks Clint. After ringing the "Get Up Y'all!" bell this morning, everyone dressed and breakfast eaten, I waved good bye to the crew. Daughter didn't find any tasty leftovers for lunch so she took the car and would be by to pick me up around noon. That'd set me up for after school pick up around three o'clock. Two minutes later she called - flat tire 1/2 a block from the house. Knowing how the factory jacks suck I grabbed my roll around hydraulic and headed towards the blinking lights right up the street. While I laid down to position the jack. she hustled the kids up the street to walk to the school another 3 blocks away. Got the jack set, popped the trunk, and was glad I'd brought the jack - no factory jack. Also no lug wrench. Turned to walk back to the house to get my 4-way lug when a young man in a pick up stopped. He had his wrench, and business card - a mechanic! Got the cheesy space saver spare on, tossed the flat in the bed of his truck to go fix it for me, and I got daughter to work only a few minutes late. Since then I've got the fresh slightly used tire back on the car, and back home for another cup of coffee. This being semiretired is tiring. Still got a leak under the kitchen sing to look at.
Me too, Charlie. I could watch other people work hard all day!
Single cone, soft serve vanilla. No sprinkles. Yum.
I gave you credit for the assist, but I'd already won the auction before your post.
I've got one each of nearly every Old Spice mug, but didn't have the Burma Shave yet. It was a bonus getting it new with the brush and soap!
Representative Republic, not a Democracy. Irks me every time... never mind.
There ya go! Proper procedure being followed. All's right in the 30 DC world.
No one ever accused you of being a common tater, Paul.
