    Early morning shave, mid day post. Got back into town last night and went into work early this morning. Pulled out the Goodwill for another day as I think I've used all my OC DEs for at least a couple of shaves this month. Excellent shaver. It had been too long since I pulled out this excellent soap. Love the scent and love the performance of the older Glissant base as well. 3 passes later I was completely smooth. The only negative? There is now a donut hole in the bottom of the tub. Probably 20 shaves left still based on how long they seem to hang on at that point...

    My last Tabac shave for the month. I decided to break out the scuttle for some wonderfully warm lather. The Feather blade is still cutting well after 7 shaves. The slightly sweet, spicy scent of JoHS Blood on Steel is perfect for a 10 degree morning. Have a great day my friends!

    Let's finish the month following the rules.
    1908 Gillette SR OC loaded with a Wilkinson Chromium Edge.
    Rubberset SILENTLY loaded plenty of product and delivered it effortlessly to my face.
    Two passes for a DFS+ shave.
    Superb Seaforth! Spiced Lime for the win.    ​

    Well....I've kind of gotten thick skinned with enabling for DE razors since my addiction to open edges. A few single edge razors got in the way....but that little fancy is over. I'll rotate 'em all, but I, um, maybe, sorta should mention that the open edge bug hasn't gone away in the slightest :ashamed001:....currently waiting to hear back on a couple.

    Thanks Jim! I should probably glue it in? :happy102: I salvaged the Zenith knot from a new handle...but wasn't decided yet. The glue at the back of the knot had serious knife trimming, it was barely big, now extremely tight in the CMON handle.

    Massachusetts has some excellent hospitals, Paul. Our doc consults with The Mayo Clinic. We'll pack up and go if he suggests it. At this point, that hasn't been discussed.
