Very nice shave Daniel. What camera are you using? I need to up the game on my pictures but I just cannot find the time to get the Canon 60D out. I then have to tranfer the pictures to the computer. The cell phone just makes it easier.

Thanks, Danny! I use a Nikon D3200, with either a 50mm F/2 AI or 55mm F/3.5 AI Micro Nikkor. I do use a tripod and a cheap spot light too.
The 60D sounds like a nice camera! And yes, the cell phones do make everything easier. But these days the phone cameras are actually really good if there is enough light.

Thanks, I have an older cell phone and there is my problem. The cameras on the new ones are so much better.

 

Just ordered a Core razor for 19.95 plus 3.95 shipping. They are apparently marked down from 50.00 right now. Comes with stand and 10 blades. Hard to pass up at that price.

 

You should see my phone with it's 0,3mp camera.. Had a Nokia 6.1, it decided to turn into a paperweight, so i bought the cheapest thing i could find (i was on a trip).
Maybe i will take tomorrows SOTD-pic with it. Even though the quality will be horrible.

 

I am using a Samsung Note 3 that I resurrected out of the kitchen drawer....wife's old phone. I always get the hand me downs.

 

Thanks, Jason! I got the Barbury brush at my local Sally's Beauty Supply. The soap is relatively new because I bought it about a month ago and I believe this is my 4th time using it. The company still exists, but it discontinued making shaving soap. I bought 2 sets of lavender soap and aftershave at a nice discount! I got the tip from Eric Latta of Adventures of Wet Shaving on You Tube. He was using their mandarin scented soap and it piqued my interest. I wanted that particular scent, but it was sold out, so I picked lavender because I never had that scent.

 

That isn't too bad! With good lighting it could work well i think.

I have a Nikon D750, an assortment of lenses and a few flashes and umbrella stands. Yeah, I use my cellphone camera too.
