Just started it yesterday. I deal with a lot of spanish speaking people at work, but need someone to translate. It's time to remove some of the reliance on my buddies. So far I'm breezing through it. If nothing else, it's helping me remember high school spanish, but I couldn't converse with that broken spanish if my life depended on it. :happy102

your Vision brings a certain song to mind:

"I like big razors and I cannot lie,
    You other brothers can't deny..."

I know just enough spanish to get my face slapped.

"Bueno, me llama es Javier Quixote, y me gusto mucho las senorita's in las minifaldas."

"Quiero una cervesa fresca, y una senorita calor."

    give or take.

Never had HS Spanish..... I picked up some during my 4 month TDY to Honduras back in '95, and while living in Phoenix....but it's mostly forgotten now.... I'm in a similar situation at work, a large portion of our district is becoming Hispanic, and it will just make my life easier to know it....

Although the rest of you lost me with your posts... :(

I do remember: "Uno mas cerveca, por favor," "Uno mas tequila, por favor," and, "¿Donde esta el Baño?" :happy102 .... makes for a fun night :D

Just noticed it's your birthday, Justin. Happy birthday.

Ugh. Hope you snap out of that soon, Micah.

Can I send you some nice shave goodies in the mail to lift your spirits?

I'll get to you too, Ray.

Si! Pam, you've just about summed up my knowledge of Spanish in your post.

I still say we need a thread for razor poetry and verse.

Ever had a real Margarita? Not the sweet concoction most of us are used to, but the unsweet, slightly bitter, and strong margaritas they make in Mexico. It's an interesting thing to try. I favor the sweeter americanized frozen ones personally though.
