Wonderful shave, Blair! I am honored that I inspired you to use one razor except when you travel.

Well, it's official-the crew will be here Monday to fix my shower. I think they took longer than expected with their job today so that another one right after that would have been too much. The job they did today must have been in connection with preparing the apartment for a new resident. I kinda like how the mgr. said to me "Hopefully they can 'sneak in getting yours fixed'". Tells me it won't take that long to get mine working again.

    .
My connection with your situation is that at a future family reunion of those on my Dad's side, there may be a group of kids along-none of whom I've met yet but I certainly look forward to. They're related to me and vice-versa, somehow! These kids are the grandchildren of my father's cousin's wife. I see them on the Christmas card&message sent by Granny and Gramps.

The problem is going to be getting gold plated end caps. Installing them takes minutes. The endcaps from any 50's era super-speed will work. If you are going to send it off for plating afterward, just buy a crappy SS that still has endcaps. When I transplanted endcaps to my Aristocrat, the only razor I had was in bad shape with bend endcaps. I pulled them off, flattened them, reinstalled, and sanded out the last few imperfections. It really wasn't hard.

That pic made my day Andrew! Just curious ....does he use Proraso?
Good stuff Gary! Enjoy your weekend.

I still say you take some great pics Jason even though you credit bad lighting. Have a great weekend my friend !

I like the way your mind works Danny.Thats impressive !

I know a guy who could maybe make you a fatter handle for that razor.

You wont be sad when that order comes in Joe. As far as the soap disorder goes ....join the club. We meet at 8 every Tuesday night.

From my point of view , you still have a few more hours to make an order before the Boss gets home Gary. Tell her thats what happens when you are left alone and unattended . She will understand .

This story reminds me of when I met my birth family about 15yrs ago. Life changing event .

Im really not good at sticking to any one piece, with all the tons of shave junk you enablers have forced me to lust after and horde up.
But I'm so well shaved today. I used a huge ikon handle on a gillette tech head. The head has gillette across the top cap. I am too lazy to ho check the date code, but if i can muster the willpower to use it again, I'll post its peticulars. I used a muhle made synthetic silvertip fiber brush. Best thing about this brush, a pass under a medium flow fawcet, will make the fibers wet enough to splay and glide across my face, leaving a fluffier lather that takes a nice sheen. To heavy on the fawcet pass and it'll start slinging gobs of foam into the mirror, my chest, or a nearby wall. So just a quick pass does the job. Persona lab my go to. I used stirling dunshire, then a quick alcohol bath with gillette cool wave aftershave, then a rub down of dunshire balm. Interesting habit I've fallen into. I use my hair to remove the balm from my hand. It's chinsy, but that little bit of hold is i need to brush through my hair, and it smells nice. My results today were perfect, i could very well use this as my dessert island whisker wacker. It's unusually heavy, ikon gives the class of new. Gillette tech gives the elegance of vintage. And this model of tech is like 4wd for your face, get it right and you'll get a bbs most every time with supreme comfort.
Enough talking, Hope y'all did as well, or better.
