So this post is a day late. Got the shave in early yesterday and had to get on the road.
For this month's focus, I have decided to split up the "NOV's".
No variation will be MWF for the entire month, or until it expires.
No variation will be the Rubberset 400/3 until the MWF is gone.
No variation will be Derby City Small Batch Shave Tonic in combination with the MWF.
If the MWF expires, I will move on to whatever AS I choose.
I don't own enough razors or blades to make NOV a No-repeat,
so I will do what I did in October, and simply cycle through my gear.
For those of you interested, I already have back-ups of MWF and SMST, so please don't worry
    about Primo.
Saturday and Sunday, if I do shave, will not be with the same gear.
I don't like to travel with such heavy bottles or ceramic jars.
    I have a tube of C.O. Bigelow/CH2 Synthetic/Feather AS-D2 at the ready, should I shave.

Well, Jason, if you want to do the honorable thing and send me a replacement brush immediately to make things right...

Honestly, this is my favorite synthetic brush of any that I've used. The handle is perfect, it creates a wonderful lather, and it looks snazzy. It has truly changed my opinion of synthetics in general. I wouldn't change a thing on it.

Sounds like a great plan, Joseph. I wouldn’t travel with that ceramic tub, either.

    Good morning!

Terrific shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. I spent some extra time on my neck which resulted in extra warmth from the alum, but wow, am I smooth!

First use of a Big Ben Super Stainless. No complaints. Plenty sharp and smooth.

    Have a great weekend! [IMG]

    Good morning, guys!
    Traditional Straight Razor Shave #111
    Wostenholm 5/8 Square Point
    Stirling Boar Brush
    Stirling Sandalwood SS and AS
    Nivea ASB
Today starts my 30 straight razor challenge! I will be using the same razor and setup 30 consecutive shaves. This is my very first rule as a member of the 30DC. I chose it because I want to determine how well I strop and also honed this razor. This is the 3rd shave since I honed this razor about 3months ago. I also want to break in the Stirling brush because it is still stiff.
I whipped up a nice, wet lather and the Sandalwood scent really kicked up. I could have done one pass with this razor for a DFS, but I never do it. Finished the shave with a nice, smooth comfortable shave without any irritation. Got a tiny cut on the top of my ear with the toe while landing , but stopped without my intervention. Applied the Sandalwood aftershave and Nivea balm to end this morning's grooming ritual. One down, 29 more to go! Have a great day, guys! 20191101_142822.jpg 20191101_142822.jpg
