I had Chia seeds on my cereal this morning, Paul. I ran out of ground flax this week, but it's on the Piggly Wiggly list.

My Bride and I met with a dietitian this week as part of her treatment plan, and she recommended flax also. She also recommended fruit smoothies with different kinds of goodies included. This may be the healthy answer to my ice cream addiction. I told my Bride that I'd go along with her on any healthy food items. Teamwork makes the dream work!

Several friends have sent food to us over the past few days. We have some homemade cauliflower and cheese soup in the fridge for lunch. All the cupcakes are gone. They seem to mysteriously disappear overnight. There is one massive homemade chocolate chip cookie left, but I'm leaving it for my Bride.

I would have gone back to hit the right cheek. Anyway, nice shave and report.

Hard to answer that right off the bat Charlie-mainly as there are some I have that I need to "test-shave" more to make sure they're in the running. (I mean, I'm happy I have them, just need to put them to more work).I'll set up a list in a future post-or add it to this one if I can find where it is.

I would have too, but the problem is that I didn't realize I missed it until just before coming on here. I figured it was too late...the Clubman was already on, etc. In past times, I would realize the problem practically right after the shave, and kill'em off with the Rise Super Foam. No more Rise here, though. I'll just have to get into the habit of checking immediately after, the way I did before.

While sitting here waiting, at basketball orientation..... no not for me, I'll post tis morning's antics.
This morning I used a Treat carbon steel blade.
This blade is sharp but nothing compared to a Feather. The first pass was pulling and tugging, the second pass much of the same. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't comfortable either. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a Feather blade and a 1 able to shave like a cart, I give it an 8.
2 passes on the face with a 3rd clean up pass the Fuzzy @wchnu way. Using the witch hazel, got me just about there. The head shave was much of the same but less pulling, mostly because that hair there is not as tough. Needed another Fuzzy style clean up pass to get me about where I like to be.
One blade, one shave. Ill try the same type of blade tomorrow morning. I pulled out a few Treat Carbon blades from storage in case they were on the, oh yea list.

    Everything else worked as expected.

    Enjoy!

    No repeat
    SR Saturday

    Razor: Equinox International
Blade; Muhle (the one that came with my R41)
    Brush: Cremo Horse Hair
    PS: Proraso
    Soap: Chiseled Face Midnight Stag
    AS: Proraso

Using No Repeat November as an excuse to use all the stuff I normally don't think about. I bought this razor for travel because I have had more than 1 knife stolen out of my suitcase. If this $12 shavette vanished I would be less upset. However then I got into DE razors which I put in my carryone. I never did a full shave with it until today.

It didn't do too bad. I still like my Dovo better, but I got a close 2.5 pass shave with no blood. This might become my camping razor.

I wanted to try s horse hair brush and this Cremo was cheap. It stinks worse than any natural brush I have used, but my experience is limited. The fibers are soft without much body. Only slightly thicker than human hair.

I will be replacing our water heater today. So I figured I would set the manly tone with a manly soap.
