very cool,quite rare i would imagine..d-3 and 4 were tv specials with the different handle and c1-4 1957 and older had the crimp higher up the handle ..

You know your stuff, I looked at my TV Special by mistake, the date code on the Flare tip is A3.

what year is the one in your shave pic? with the personnas..

F3 I've got 2 Flare tips and 1 TV Special, I thought they were the same year until I put them side by side and saw the difference in the handles.
