    Hey there, welcome!
    Most times razor burn is from "over shaving" your new at the wet shaving, if you used carts "disposable razors" your trying to hard. You don't need to go over the same spot more than two times when starting out. Also if your used carts, they require pressure to shave, a DE (double edge) razor doesn't require pressure to shave. Your beard grows slow so just take your time and use less pressure. You will also hear the term "ride the cap". That means to run the razor a certain way. Google it and read up on it. Skin stretching is also important too.
    If you Google manic59, then go to his blog. There are a lot of beginner videos that will help.
    Ask any questions here too, we've all be there. This bunch is willing to help.
