I managed to scrape the mole just a little bit, which was enough to make it bleed, but it stopped bleeding by itself very quickly, without alum. Apart from that, it was a great shave. The Tabac AS might be slightly too drying for my face at this time of the year, but that's why i'm using the Nivea. Moisturisers too if needed.

DFS today before going to a Veterans lunch/dinner at the Canadian Legion. As a member of the American Legion we have the same rights and privileges as Canadian Legion members. The same applies to Canadian Legion members in America. I am the only Marine and Vietnam Veteran that attends this function. I is my duty to make America proud.

This is an amazing array of shaving products. I am a big fan of Bay Rum, Ogallala is one of the best IMO. The SOC Badger/Boar brush is fantastic. It whips up and outstanding lather in light speed time even when bowl lathering. Okay light speed is an exaggeration but is a good brush.
This Scuttle is outstanding I don't use it enough. Here is a little about the scuttle. Maybe more than a little.

Well, a better shave this morning than yesterday. I had mostly the same products, except for the brush-went with the Jayaruh#59. I still left a little stubble on the right cheek area, but not as much as yesterday. I think(hope)that when I can take normal showers again(should be beginning next Tuesday, as the plumbing crew comes tomorrow), I'll have better shaves, as I will use more soap power to prep. The Central Texas Soaps puck has some suds action going!!! Always nice to see.

Moving along with my November do list.
I decided that the blade I used yesterday was not being used today. I got a few bumps on the noggin that I used to get when using a cart to mow the gord. I attribute this to the pulling and tugging I got with that blade.
Not to be deterred, I loaded another type of blade and started the job, a super thin. Oh my, trying to get through the first pass was uh, painful. I was about 1/4 the way through the first cheek, couldn't take it any more. The yellow red box on the left was the pulling blade, I give it a 2. On a scale from of 1-10, 10 being a Feather, Thats being very generous.
Lathered up and ready, I got out the other type super thin and loaded it into the Cooper. Not expecting much, I started the job over. Huh! that blade runs great, hhmmmmm. No pulling or tugging, just a small amount of resistance while sliding the razor around. Went the whole 2 pass shave with one blade, I did a fuzzy clean up pass on both head and face to get where I like to be. No issues, cleaner than yesterdays job.
I give it a 9 on the 1-10 scale, 10 being a Feather blade. The black and blue
package of blades are quite superior to the other blades.
Bothe are Gillette super thin blades, but made in different countries.

good morning gents..and a fine sunny sunday it is here..loaded up the brit new deluxe 2 piece criterion with the platinum blade.anothe big thank you to Jason who crafted this fine brush.it has an omega 10098 knot i set in it yesterday.awesome figaro oud lather in the new turkish copper bowl., 2+ lovely smooth passes later a smooth bbs was the result.i tend to go for bbs on the weekends more than weekdays,the lower neck getting less atg on workdays.figaro splash to finish..awesome..back to work on monday.was a fantastic staycation,lots of rest and time here as well..have a fine day everyone....

awesome shave and pic Douglas.Whonnock B.C is just up the street from where i grew up here and i am near there on work days..fine looking scuttle..enjoy..langley city shave shop is close by as well.they have some fine brushes..worth checking out..

So far no serious issues. We did have to expand our security budget to allow for their shoe and accessories budget. The trade off is that they get meaner as they get older but their maintenance requirements drop off substantially.
