    That's awesome! Everyone needs a birth year razor. I have a Gillette Black Handle Superspeed V2. My birthday is in July so I say my razor and I were being made at the same time.

    Gary - Patrick & I were discussing a kamisori with a nekkid tang (handle). Depending on the maker, they may be thick and shaped for your fingers to find the right angle - indexing. This one is not. It a very slim nearly square profile that needs beefing up. The photos I've seen on the interwebs show most of this brand with a rubbery fat grip. If you've used Plasti Dip® to put new grips on a pair of pliers or other tools you know the stuff.
    Give 'em a week and this term will be verboten. I do have a portion of Germanic Heritage so I'm not culturally appropriating that term. Unless it triggers you. Is that your pronoun of choice?
