A late post from my morning shave. I had a little extra time, so I got out the Vanta. I did one pass and had a nice CCS, so I called it good. I did get a little cut on my chin when I relaxed the chin while shaving. A little stiptic application took care of it. After that, it was a nice day with the family. I hope everyone had a great day!

Thanks Jim. I'm officially out of shave cream now. I will eventually pick up another English cream or two. It's a bit quicker when you're pressed for time, and the performance is really good. I'll probably go for Taylor of Old Bond Street although I like Castle Forbes and Truefitt & Hill as well.

Thanks Terry. We've had a couple of frosts too. I'm the last guy in town to wear a jacket, but I've started wearing a fleece zip up outer layer. My shorts are still within reach if we get more warm weather.

I haven't see any bugs 'round my new place yet. I guess they all got wind of the Clubman and haven't figured out it's all gone.

Thanks Jason. Me too. I've had these pucks for awhile, and I'm very curious to see how they'll do side-by-side. I'm a lavender fan. I haven't popped the lid off the Eufros yet. Wet dirt doesn't sound quite as appealing. We'll see.

And just a quick note to my 30DC family: I sincerely appreciate the prayers, words of encouragement, PMs, and cash advances over the past few weeks from everyone. It means everything to both my sweet Bride and me to know that we're surrounded by an amazing group of family, friends, and prayer warriors. We are settling into a new normal, taking things a day at a time, and life is very good. You all are a rather special band of hoodlums, and I'm thankful for nearly every one of you.

That's ok, Charlie because you and the rest of the 30DC have to deal with my constant setup until mid-December due to my 30 consecutive same straight razor rule.

A Spicy Sunday shave with a fresh tube of Indian Old Spice shave cream. Next time I'll use half as much product, had plenty of left overs for a two passer. Didn't think I'd hit the nick on my neck until daughter asked me why I was bleeding. Easy seal up with the alum, didn't need the heavy duty styptic. Scent on the cream is close enough to Shulton and it sure does work easily. Slick and gave plenty of residual for overlapping passes. I took WTG & ATG, skipped the XTG this time. Fair decent results with a well known blade holder on it's max setting with a previously used blade. I think the bottle of AS is down to half. Boy Scout preparedness; I have a couple of back ups.
