    Just got back in town. This weekend no shave...:scared003: no shower. 750 posts behind. Never gonna catch up. Thanks to all that wrote nice things about my shaves. :love055: Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday to you all. I would have thought that when Primo goes out of town, this thread would wait for him to return. Boy was I mistaken! Back on the MWF horse tomorrow and FYI...here comes the Van Dyke.

    Second run with the Gillette FuzzTech. For some reason I wanted to pick this one back up this afternoon. Great shave and fun razor. Y'all take care.

    It was a beautiful day in the land of the Arch today. Mid 50's, sunny, great day to be outside which, of course, is where I was all day. Home at the end of the day and ready to look presentable again. I have an early morning meeting tomorrow that I need to look professional for so the head shave got handled as well. Merkur 23c and VDH soap and brush for that this week. As for the regular shave, I no-repeated over to the Gillette Black Beauty, on 9 of course, and the Rapira Super Stainless blade. Definitely one of the best Russians out there and it blends well with American brass and plastic. For the soap and brush - Moon Soaps Old School has LOTS of tallow and I love that so it will get its turn this month and was brought to life by the Semogue 1305. Still a newer brush to me it is breaking in very nicely and had no trouble producing three passes of lather.

    Three passes, no cuts, blood, irritation or other problems and life is good! Monday is looming ahead!! Hope it's a great one and the start to a great week.

    My 59 red tip had copper here , brass there when i started to clean it up. Was so pitted I just went with the paint. I did 1 shave before the resto and found the copper on the doors irritated my skin so I opted for the paint. Great shave !
