I don't get tired of see quality products Joseph. The 1947 is my birth year razor. I have two of them. They are great razors.

It depends on what you like. Atomic Age Bay Rum is the best Bay Rum out there, in my opinion. It is a terrific scent. Jonh Frum is also very good, as is Harvest Moon and Cavendish. Tombstone is a unique scent and one of my favorites. Both Lather Blaster 3000 and Future Fiction are also among my favorites. Meta Nectar is different, and if you like apricot, very good. The CK-1 base is pretty good stuff, but they also have the CK-6, which does have a better face feel IMO. I personally don't upgrade, but I coysee why you would.

Good Tuesday morning to all!
Monday is normally a long day, and yesterday was no exception, but that's behind me now and anothe day is starting.
Another blade, another shave!
This time using a 7'Oclock Yellow for the run, one blade, one shave. At first the blade was not so much tug n pull but rough. The first pass was not horrible, not even bad, just not as comfortable as a Feather first run. The 2cd pass went better and I felt things were going good. Got to the cleanup pass and by then most everthing was cleared.
Now for the head shave, it was smooth sailing all the way. 1st and 2cd pass went without incident, the clean up pass was almost not needed. Other than the start everthing went well. I don't know if I need to do the head shave first with this blade, thats always a possible cure for this type of hardware.
All in all a ok shave, no blood, no burn, but that's what I expect from this razor.
Everthing else worked as expected.

Here in my part of the woods we are going to choose what scoundrels we have to put up with, along with some pick-pocket issues.

Good morning!

Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Light tickle from the alum on my neck.

Bonehead move this morning. While cleaning up after my shave I sliced my thumb. More of a fillet. Hopefully it will stop bleeding on its own.
