Chiseled Face Summer Storm today. 20 seconds to load the Thater 2-Band Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Voskhod in the Maggard V2 Open Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Classic Fougere aftershave.

It’s been a long time since I last used this Paradise Frost soap and I really enjoyed it today. The scent profile is very citrusy - mainly grapefruit but there are some other notes to it also. The lather works up so thick, rich, as well as protective although it’s not so slick and it’s got a very slight menthol sensation. The Prep, together with the Fougere Santal aftershave gave me great postshave care - wow, does that aftershave ever smell beautiful. Three passes resulted in a cracker of a shave!
