Thanks, Terry! I appreciate the tip on the Stirling ASB, but I can always pickup Nivea at the local store. I like the fact that the Nivea is not greasy. It is light, but it does a nice job for me.

First shave with the Mitchell’s Wool Fat and I have to say that I am impressed with this soap. Whipped up thick, excellent cushion and glide. I took Gary’s @brit advice on working with the soap. He was spot on and I was rewarded with nice lather, I think it is referred to as “uber” lather here on the thread.

I am really enjoying the Above the Tie set up. Great razor and handles like a dream. It is amazing how after a few shaves and getting the razor dialed has made a difference. I think the Karve is getting a little jealous but it will have to wait a little longer. Fat Friday is coming and the Fatboy will be on deck for a fat Friday shave. So if you have a Fatboy bring it out Friday.

A little Nivea post balm and a splash of Clubman and this shave was in the bag. I got caught in some Clint @clint64 traffic this morning. It seems the State of Alabama in its infinite wisdom decided to pave a part of highway 82 this morning at 7:00 A.M., 20 minutes to go two miles. . That is right...a major four lane highway going into Northport and Tuscaloosa being paved at 7 and 8 in the morning.........smart!
