    SOTD:
I apologise for not posting any shave of the day posts over the last two weeks, college was hectic because of test week, but all my shaves over the last few weeks have either been with bundubeard Coffee, col conk lime, or arko.

At the beginning of the month i switched out my uk made super speed for my Wilkinson sword tto long handle, what a fantastic razor! All my shaves were also with the same feather blade now on its 32nd shave.

Because ive decided against doing no shave November this year, ive decided to make this my budget shave month where ill be using blades as long as i possibly can, and only my cheapest soaps and a single razor.

Usually I load my brushes for 20 seconds with most soaps but i need to load for 30 with the col conk lime since its a smaller puck, so less is in contact with the brush.

    Shave 1:
Razor: Wilkinson sword classic tto long handle
    Blade: feather hi-stainless (31)
    Brush: Omega 49
    Soap: arko shave stick
    Aftershave balm: prep

    Shave 2:

Razor: Wilkinson sword classic tto long handle
    Blade: feather hi-stainless (32)
    Brush: Wilkinson sword classic
    Soap: col conk lime
    Aftershave balm: prep

The shiny brush handle achieved a curious mimetic effect!

Every day is more and more difficult to find decent razors in decent conditions...
I have been lucky enough to retrieve a Red one, years ago, but no so perfect as yours.

    Thursday's Shave

    zcws.jpg

    Cold Water Rinse
Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #292
    C.V. Heljestrand
    CVS CS SE
    CWR
    Granddad's Blend AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #292 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/7 AM day 4
    RVT Green Fields SS
    Prep ASB
Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS Splash

This Green Fields has such a beautiful minty scent, it lathers like a bomb, and it can easily pass for a menthol soap because it’s very cooling from the peppermint. I really enjoyed the massage with the Prep and the Aqua Velva went on so chilly. Another A1 shave![IMG]
