I've had a busy couple weeks and haven't been around much. You know how it is catching up this thread...I just blew that off! Listen AZ is nice, and I've enjoyed my years here. It was a great place to start my career and cut my teeth. But the time has come to move on. A few things I don't care for is all the brown, the blowing sand, the +100 temps, the constant weed tending in the yard, most recently the speed cameras piss me off and a few other things. These are not issues that can't be overlooked if you really want to be here. We simply want a change of scenery. For all you looking to get here though, it's a pretty nice place I'll grant you.
I would love to move back to Tucson.. they can keep Phoenix. Would the shave store support both of us so I can just sit around and smoke cigars...
OK... back from induction ceremony.... Well yes... winter from October through May, but I figure we usually get six weeks of summer.... I don't mind a short summer... I just wish Spring and Fall were longer and Winter was MUCH shorter.. scraping windows in May... WTF!?!
That's probably where I'll end up...no too familiar with the area, but I like the Oro Valley area and around the base of the Santa Catalinas (I think that's what they're called...). Any good hunting allowed up in those mountains?
I am sad to say that I never hunted out there.. Oro Valley is nice I spent some time out in Avra Valley.. they actually raise cotton out there felt more like home.
