Happy Friday Everyone. I decided to reward myself with some bay rum this morning. Mike's Bay Rum smells fantastic. I really like that it is just a pure bay rum scent without any apologies. I would also add that Mike's soaps have proven to work great as shave sticks. The lather just explodes as soon as the brush hits the face. Three passes and touch ups along the jaw line and neck caught the baby with easy. A splash of CC Bay Rum aftershave was meant to seal the deal but I reward myself with some Krampert's as well. A triple dose of bay rum left me smelling and feeling great. I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday.
  2. Thank you, Clint!
  3. Thanks, my friends! Kathy and I remain very hopeful and thankful.

We made travel arrangements to Mayo yesterday. We could either go to Jacksonville, FL or Rochester, MN during the winter. My Bride let me pick, so I chose Rochester. :smiley freezing: We will fly and take shuttles once we're there to minimize any concerns of driving in bad weather. It appears that all the buildings on the Mayo campus are connected via underground tunnels and overhead walkways. You know, it's probably warm enough inside to enjoy an occasional dip or two...with extra sprinkles. :D

We've also made arrangements for fun trips to the Gulf Coast (one of our favorite places to visit) and to San Francisco. Interestingly, we'll be staying near the 'watch district' in SF. I plan to spend a day there while my Bride and my Sister do the shopping thing.

I hope you all have a fantastic Friday!
  4. Triple Bay Rum!?!

Another day in shave paradise. I know this is getting boring for most of you. Indeed, I am
ready for a change, but a challenge is a challenge and I am going to get through this soap
    no matter what.
MWF has to be on the top five for value vs. cost. More than MdC, mos def©.
Yes, Terry, I used a brand-spanking new blade in the Feather AC.
No doubt, these puppies have a very keen edge.
Side Note: @gssixgun just uploaded a very good video featuring refreshing with a
    Naniwa 12K. Worth checking out.
    Great shave and without incident.
Eschewed the Thayer's and went directly to the SBST.
Hard to say how many shaves remain, but I will say this:
Get used to this set up for the foreseeable future.
  15. Great shave, Clint. Excellent description of the Mike's.
  16. Great picture, Terry!
  17. Nice shave, Dale!
  18. Wonderful picture, Jim!
  19. Terrific Fat Friday shave, Perry!
  20. Now the morning lows are in the 50s, evening highs in the 80s.
