Some sites(not necessarily for shaving)are accepting "Black Friday" donations NOW....I did go ahead and donate for one of them already, but will wait for the ACTUAL Day for the rest.

I've got that one too but haven't used it yet as I have so many soaps that I'm trying to use up now. I'll have to give Stirling One a try.

Stirling One is woodsy, warm, spicy with just a hint of sweetness. A great cool weather option!

Thank you Andrew. You are very good at describing scents. I look forward to trying my set out.

Going with the Unscented A.S. tomorrow. I'll be talking about this in my Friday Files edition.

It's originally from Paco Rabanne(sp), right?

  7. That sounds SO good, you must smell spectacular! Sandalwood anything, is amazing.

  8. Last year for my birthday, one of my subscribers purchased a whole bunch of amazing products for me. One of the products was STIRLING Shaving Soaps. It has changed my life. Not only does the soap lather well, but the post-shave feel is spectacular, even before I've put on aftershave. The purchaser of these items was so smart in getting me Port-Au-Prince, where I'm adopted from, but also getting me a fragrance that smells divine. I can truly say I am a huge fan of Stirling and the fact that the soap smells like home makes the shave all the better.

    Love,
    Erica

I KNEW THAT. (lol.....now that you correct me, I recognize the company.). But I do recall that I was driven by the scent.

It should be nice, but I have been corrected as to who makes it....it's Dolce&Gabbana. But we can get it from this company, too(If&When Available).

Hello, Erica...welcome to TSD. Subscribers?? Just so you know for future reference,. I have silly names pertaining to this company. I call it "Stoylin"(probably how it would be pronounced in NY/NJ), and I call the owner Rod "Doc Ezlovan". But I love...well...Stoylin. :).

If you want Paco Rabanne, I think PAA makes a dupe

OK Thanks, but his aftershaves are too expensive. The soap, perhaps.

I used Ozark Mountain soap and A/S last night. Amazing scent and now that I'm figuring the lathering out, the soap is probably gonna be my new go to. Maybe not this scent but Stirling because they are in my part of the country, Vet owned and seem to be just good people. Texas On Fire and Black Cherry are my next 2 shaves then I'll be ordering 2 full size sets maybe 3 and another round of samples.

That was one "benefit" of my Men's Health Magazine subscription. Why go to a department store for a sample whiff of a fragrance when you can whiff it right from the magazine? :).

By the way-I don't subscribe to M.H. anymore-I think it is meant for men younger than I am now.
