Getting back on the horse today. This is my first straight shave since my accident. It is also my first shave with this Russian straight I got from @Redfisher . My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #292 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Gravjura 5/8 (1964) and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

LASS Woody Lavender today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor/TGN Grade A Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I loaded a new vintage Personna 74 Tungsten in the vintage Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Clubman Whiskey Woods aftershave.

As I said yesterday, I had to try my G 1000 (Slim Twist or whatever it's named): a great experience as the weight is in the head and, being lazy, I like to let the razor work.

Can't see a good reason for doing myself all the effort!
Changed the blade after first pass as it seemed to be exhausted (I must be contagious...), but there was nothing left. But all right, if you get what I mean.

What you see in the shot is a November landscape and that is absolutely wrong: November should be a dark and misty month!
