Mmm. Food. Speaking of which, I need a midnight snack. Didn't really eat dinner, but picked up some andouille on the way home (thanks, Bill). Think I'll make some.

Yup. Lappy fans. I'm comfortable opening up laptops, so I'm fine with it. Makes it even easier that a number of laptops nowadays come with easy access to the fan on the underside.

I used to love that show, Bill.

Hmmmm... one minute he wants some nice quality wild time with the gal from WI, then the next he's hunting food. :D

Been a good night here. We're free of our boarder at long last! Down to just one twentyoneish guy in the house now and he's family (and has a job) so that's okay...

Feeling guilty for not working on pens tonight, but did have a nice dinner with my darling bride.

So Pam, did you use any quitting aids? I've tried to quit like twenty times now. Longest was... well, I'll save you the stories. I'm down to about 5/day now and think I should just get over it and quit. You're an inspiration!

Inspiration my ass. I'm gonna murder someone :happy102 Seriously, I've had Chantix and I can't see any point to feeding an addiction with more nicotine in the form of gum and patches. The chantix didn't work, so I decided to just do it . 7th day and no cigs. So far, so good.....

Well, whatever you did, I think it's cool! Good for you, darlin'!

I had an uncle that quit chewing and smoking simultaneously after refining his habits for 40 years or so. He then proceeded to loose 120 pounds over the next year. I asked him how he quit the cigarettes. He said "I had to want to not smoke more than I wanted to smoke - after that it was simple".

Last time I talked with my dad, I promised him I'd quit. That's been 21 years now. I think it's about time to make good on that one...

Ah, thank you! I was just starting to search for what breed of chickens you have. Those Cochin chickens are awesome. Will we get to see chick pictures? We like chick pictures! :D

    Perfect!

So are their legs extremely feathery when they're little, or does that take a while?

Yes, I know... questions, questions, questions!
