By the way, my "mystery lady" wrote again and sent a picture.....slim, just like she said. I wonder if she lives right in my area...our town is well known for its diverse population. Oh, and she's kinda purty, too.

Thanks Terry. We made our travel arrangements, reviewed some orientation materials, and we're ready to go. We'll have carry on luggage, so I'll take a minimal shave kit consisting of a Trac II handle, one Personna cartridge (I plan to use it 4 times ), my Kent BK4 silver tip badger brush, a Tabac shave stick, and a dollop of unrefined shea butter. I figure this is one place where aftershave and cologne are not welcome, so I'll leave the juice at home.

We've already got a really nice place in mind if we have to go back for an extended visit.

They have the original Crown King base (often called CK or CK-1) and the newer CK-6 base.

 

With help from another scrounger, I got the original(CK).

 

Congrats Paul! Did you throw in the matching $1 AS sample? I think if you give the sample a try, you will find they are a good value since a little goes a long way.
