An excellent review and great pic, Clint. I like the Fine Fresh Vetiver, but was not a fan of Stirling’s Port au Prince vetiver scent.

I think you need some higher class photos, Gary...that photo looks like it was taken in an abandoned rail yard and her fishnets are too literal- like they were recycled from a salmon boat.

 

I have not tried Port au Prince but it is mixed with lemongrass. My guess is that Mike's is more of everything you don't like about Port au Prince. Vetiver is one of my favorite scents.

 

When it comes to enabling I don't give as good as I get but I keep trying.

 

I feel the same way. I am not very good at enabling.

 

It has worked on me as well, my friend. A nice combination of you and the other Jim showing off and trumpeting all the great PAA stuff with me wanting to try vintage Brut has me asking around vendors for their Et Tu.

 

Whatever! I have a CH2 and a few SV scents directly based on comments and pics originating from suburban Atlanta...

Earlier day shave, late report. Daughter's BF flew into Houston, rented a car, met our crew in Beaumont, Texas. Stopped by a flea market to kill some time before we had supper at Golden Corral, and loaded her & suitcase into BF's car for them to do a week's cruise.. I was weak, bought a DE for five bucks.
But before all that happened, I got in a shave with a couple new to me pieces of shave gear. Thanks to Tom @Tommynick for the series of interesting new international shave creams. This one from India has the recommendation of the Indian Medical Association. I'll second that for the pleasant scent & slick lather. "Crispy" menthol is some good stuff! On Jason's @jtspartan suggestion I used a Russian blade in the razor I bought from Andrew @BBS. Great performance from the Sharp Star/Cooper combo! No nicks, very smooth efficient reduction on a three pass. No problems finding the sweet spot. Alum swiped quietly, The Osage rubbed on coolly, and the Grey Flannel finished well.
