French Bakelite (Wardonia?) Razor Astra SP Blade Semogue Excelsior Boar Brush Cella Shave Cream Dickinson's Witch Hazel w/Orange Aqua Velva Musk After Shave Ever since getting this razor from @Rev579 a while back, I've been wondering what it was. From what I've been able to find out, it's a later model Wardonia that uses modern DE blades. It's very similar to their "National Set" series. On the bottom, besides saying "Made In France", it also says "Modele Repose", which means "Registered Design". So from now on, I'll be calling it a Wardonia razor, unless something else pops up about it. Now for the shave, this is an excellent razor, and in my opinion, more efficient than Gillette Bakelite razors, which I still like. My first two passes were so good, I only needed to wet the razor for some very minor touch up for an excellent BBS shave.
