    Good afternoon, fellas!
    Straight Razor Shave #117
    30 Same Straight/Setup Rule (7)
    Wostenholm 5/8 Full Hollow Square Pt
    Stirling Boar Brush
    Stirling Sandalwood SS and AS
    Nivea ASB not pictured
    This is my 7th consecutive shave using the same straight, brush, SS, AS and ASB. I normally don't shave with an under 30 hr stubble, but I have a social event later this afternoon and I wanted to look my best. Everything went well except that I got a weeper near my Adam's apple with some irritation. Apparently, I didn't keep the razor flat enough and possibly a little too much pressure. It happens. However, did manage to get an IBSS ++. Topped off the shave with the matching aftershave which burned due to the irritation. Applied the Nivea to finish the shave.     Clint had a moment of weakness and ordered a brush this weekend. I had a slight moment as well and run across a bamboo aluminum handle made by Above the Tie. It showed up on E-bay at a great price.

    It wasn't intentional, but funny just the same. I wish I was that whitty. Actually the logic was more on what a government institution would buy. I did a little searching online and determined that most institutions just used the same bar soap they used for bathing.

    Thank you guys. We did have a very good time today. Jason, Feathers are a pain to load in the 47 SS where Gillettes drop right in. Since purchasing the Gillette Yellows I have found they work well with most of my other razors as well.
