NOVember 2019 November 10 Razor - Muhle R41 Blade - Soap - Stirling Bonaparte Brush - Omega 10060 BoS Post - Alum Say hello to one last reminder of summer and hello to the first blast of winter. Highs hit the upper 60s here today. Expecting snow and a low in the teens tomorrow. Who knows - we might even get a tornado in between. Just how it goes around here. Whatever the case it was a fun shave tonight. On to the Muhle 41 to put a little aggression in the shave and I chose the Laser Stainless blade. This is another Indian from Vidyut Metallics. Not the smoothest nor sharpest blade you'll find. A bit draggy even with the aggressive Muhle doing its thing. How bad is it? Not horrible, but three passes and some touch ups netted a near-BBS. Not perfect by any means. Still, you can't argue with that result. The soap was Bonaparte with its Veg-like scent and attitude. Worked into a great lather with the small Omega, I would call the lather perfection. At least that went exactly as it should. A new week is almost here. Monday looms and I see a lot of talking went on here today. I'll be catching up in a few! Have a great start to your week!
Looks great Jim. If the shelves were adjustable you have room for one more shelf and more room for gear.
Williams is a tricky one for me as well. And, I can't say I've ever gotten it to the quality I expect from Stirling, MWF or Tabac. I did, however, finally get it to last through a pass without totally dissipating away. Lots of water. And yes, hard water doesn't help it at all.
I think your wife's perception is wrong. I still see plenty of open space there. Clearly - you don't have ENOUGH!
I don't know about that. Do you remember the picture of the new security detail for the Cartel headquarters that Neal posted?
Thank you Blair! Well, I finally caught up with the thread. And it's bedtime? No Spicy or Citrus Sunday shave for me. We'll see what Monday brings.
