  3. SOTD:
The last three shaves have been exactly the same setup, a now beautifully worn in Omega 49, paired with arko and a well used feather, and what a beautiful combination they make. I really think slickness plays a big role not only in minimising irritation, but in extending the blade lifespan too. My theory is because it reduces the friction, super slick soaps minimise blade wear.

The last 3 shaves were number 33, 34 and 35 on this blade, and its really weird because performance dropped off a lot last week and just when i was about to replace the blade, it got better, buttery smooth, im pretty sure ill be able to beat my 45 shave record with this blade, but ill have to see because the second it starts tugging im replacing it.

    Razor: Wilkinson sword tto
    Brush: omega 49
    Soap: arko shave stick
    Blade: feather hi-stainless (33,34,35)
    Aftershave Balm: prep[IMG]

    No Repeat November/Tobacco Tuesday

    Good morning!

Excellent shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Faint tickle from the alum.

The RT is a smooth operator. I find it as smooth as my Blue Tip but less finicky about the angle. Just a wonderful razor.

    Have a great day! [IMG]
  15. Thanks Danny. I've gone through two or three times as many razors, brushes, and soaps/creams as I have now. I've sold one razor/strop combo and gifted everything else. I'm down to the gear I really enjoy using and that give me great results. I love seeing all the new stuff you guys acquire and use. I'm sure I'll pick up some new things over time (been looking at the Feather Artist Club DX although it would be hard to beat my Parker SRX), but I'm fairly satisfied with my current stockpile.

I keep eyeing a bottle of Creed Aventus, and that may actually be my next purchase. I'm in the process of using up a few of my current juices first.

We're all wired different, right? I appreciate how you guys overlook my 3 blown fuses and my ground fault. ;)
  16. Thanks, Evan! Lol! Estimated Completion Date: Dec 15
