I try not to get close enough to smell Hipsters. They could send me anything, and I'd have to take their word on the scent.
NOvember MWF~~Rubberset 400/3~~Wade & Butcher~~Derby City Even considering a cold water shave was out of the question today. Fact is, I am a cold water rinse only kind of guy. @Paul76 ...does this razor look familiar? Yup, it's the W&B you gave me. This puppy really shaves well and looks great to boot! Thanks again. What a plethora of lather the Rubberset created. I think that MWF is the only soap I have ever used, which does not like to sit on a shelf---unused. We've all seen the cracked, dried up pucks. Ugly and unforgiving. When you use it daily, as I have since October 1, you really reap the benefits of the lanolin and the lather almost creates itself. Almost. The tobacco/vanilla infusion has long past into oblivion. What's left is the clean, natural, soap-scent, one might expect from a bar of Ivory soap. Not nearly as plain, but "complex" is never a term that will be used to describe MWF's scent. Three passes and the results were mos def© DFS+++ Hard to see the level of the SMST, but I have really been making a dent in it as well. My best guess is that I will finish the soap and the month of November about the same time.
Well, I'm awaiting a product from that same company. For this particular product, they DID provide a good preview, but.....we'll see about future purchases from them. One of my "new" companies I just joined says they treat their customers like we are family. Can't beat THAT, I say. And, yes, of course Stoylin is great for customer service.
As I suspected, when I switched out the Yaqi 4” handle for my 3.25” Bulldog, which I’m quite used to, I ended up with a 2 pass BBS of both face and head. Love that scalloped head coupled with the open comb. In addition, I finally found a scentless AS that my new wife of 4 yrs can tolerate. My first wife loved all my AS’s, but the new one is fragrance-sensitive and gets migraines. I feel smooth, clean and refreshed! Nice shave, Clint. I hope your back continues to improve. Back pain can be excruciating. It's cold here this morning also. It's 20 F now, but we're heading all the way to 37 F. I'm not ready for this.

Jeff brought out a Yaqi DOC and the Fat and I could not resist. Awesome shave all the way around. The Yaqi DOC is the best $5.00 head on the market and it does not disappoint. The Mitchell’s Wool Fat was thick and slick this morning as usual. Outside temperature was 25 degrees when I stepped out of the house this morning. Y'all take care and have a great day.
