Great image and line up Clint, as always. Funny...reading too fast, my brain registered Olds Ice Cream......had to reread Hope the back feels better soon.
Nice shave, Evan. I don't have a horsehair shaving brush so I can't comment on performance. However, I do know that they get tangled if you are not careful.
Thanks, Jim! It's great when I can take my time straight shaving w/o worrying about getting to work. Straight shaving is very relaxing when I am not under the gun.
Great setup, image and read as always Joseph! Cool that the different handle helped Jeff. Neat setup and shave with all the choices. Great report Danny. Sounds like a very nice shave! Love the reds Gary. Nice image, great shave! Very cool Mark. Going to make me dig out the BarrBarr and Fine samples....cool razor. I think Jeff(?) used a V1 recently....had to go look them up.
Excellent comment on the MWF. It is a soap that definitely looks and performs its best when used daily, or at least quite often. I remember when the first puck I had sat and did the "cracked desert" impression. I wasn't sure what to think. But once I gave it some love it came right back to life.
I agree on the medium sized blades. I fell for the large blades at one point, and even bought a nice Koraat that was either 7/8 or 8/8, but honestly the 6/8 was probably my favorite size when I shaved daily with straights.
Thanks, Clint! Must be a muscle memory thing. In any case I just don’t like extra long handles. Enjoy your shaves, Jeff
