A long day, without any chances to catch up at all. This is definitely a Shavette Fu special: Not only cool graphics on that Huntsman, Keith, but cool scales as well. Have fun at the conference, Terry! Anywhere interesting? That Jaws is a cool looking beast for sure, Jim. I’ve thought about pulling the trigger on it a few times. One in, one out is working somewhat, but there are a few razors I might move on from if a new one hits the den. Love the pic, Perry! I’m pulling the G4 out myself tomorrow. Glad to hear you are doing better, Clint. The R4L sounds amazing. Remind me again what it was based on? It was one of the Tom Ford scents was it not? Another great effect, Jim! Another nice b&w, Daniel. Look at that handle! Is it heavy as well, Danny? Simply an amazing pic of great products,Gary. I’m right there too, Perry. About 20 tubs, but I do have a few cream tubes as well...plus a couple samples. I’m too tired tonight to book a counselling session.... A birth year razor is a neat thing to have, no question Evan. Mine is a ‘69 Super Adjustable. There are those scales again! Awesome,Blair. I’ve never heard of that razor, Ken. Looks really cool. Your wife doesn’t like scents and you use ARKO? Brave, Jeff, very brave. Take some more photos, Joe! Congrats on the 10 straight so far, my friend. I tentatively scrolled down, lest you were showing the pic that was worse than the other one... very relieved to see it was just a shave pic...
Not to worry, my friend. I wouldn't unleash that one unless it was necessary to save us from potentially worse. And, it would probably be when you least expected anyway, so resistance is futile.
I admire that you have been sticking with the one in one out policy. Maybe one day I'll get there. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
The looks are not what drew me to it, but rather the ability to dial it in. Thus far, I have been singularly unsuccessful. I still need to continue shaving with it. I just have so many other razors that I enjoy more. Jeff
Gary, you’re right. My issue has to do with the efficiency of the razor. I haven’t been able to dial it in properly yet. Still need to just keep shaving with it until I do. I think the handle shape may have something to do with it. The handle is thicker and shorter than I’m used to. It’ll take time, but i’ll get there. Jeff
Jason: You just solved the mystery! My wife and I went to a dinner together last night. I’m relatively scent-insensitive and find Arko to be relatively mild. It’s never been commented on before by her. I guess that must be the scent she was complaining about. I was baffled. She never complained about the witch hazel before, and my Snake Bite is scent-free.
Hey ho! Finally Friday! Good morning! Went for another Monobit run this morning, used a blade that I liked when the open comb razor hit my den, Dorco 301. The face shave was good, the whiskers just wiped off, 2 passes and a clean up that took the skin where I really like to be. Nice and smooth, a comfortable shave to say the least. The head shave started out rough, setting the handle so as to ride the cap more cured that the first few strokes. 2 passes and a clean up I'm now clean smooth and ready to go. Not as easy as a Feather blade but not bad either. I give this blade a solid 9 on my scale, 1 (unusable) to 10 (feather). With more resistant compaired to a Feather blade, I'm just as clean and smooth. Well got to go. I'll try to catch up later today, couldn't be more than 6 or 7 hundred posts behind by now. All Enjoy! tp
