  1. wow...quiet night!

Good morning everyone! Great shave today!
  2. huh... I guess I didn't post in here earlier..

Good morning everyone! Well I think it is good morning....

Went with Merkur OC slant this morning. Would have been a great shave but the blade felt dull (Iridium shave #2). I was too tired, and too cantankerous to change the blade. However, all in all... it wasn't a bad shave. I kept falling asleep at home so I headed into work a little early just so I could get a pot of coffee running and keep busy. Its going to be a long day.
  3. Good morning all! Hope that the week gets off to a great start!
  4. morning folks.
  5. Mornin' Yinzers!

Looks like I've got a milestone coming momentarily. :D
  6. congratulations!!! 1k!
  7. morning everyone

used a Derby blade yesterday - finally got a terrific shave from one!
That Sheraton is proving quite the versatile blade-compliment, it's allowing me to use many of the blades I wasn't previously able to enjoy, so far Crystals and Derbys. I'm toying with the idea of trying a Dorco again, but I'm not sure yet. And great big heck no to trying a Merkur again!

on the contrary, though, some of my favorite blades - Red Packs, Astra Superiors, and the yellow 7 o'clocks so far, haven't fared as well in it.

oh well, at least I have a razor for every blade now :D

on the negative side of yesterday's shave, I had to use a styptic for the first time...ever. Got a little careless holding my razor and let it slip, giving me my first cut while shaving - again, ever.
    oh well
  8. Arrrggggghhhhhh!

A car is a weapon. It is to be taken seriously at all times! Even in the freaking Hardees drive through! :angry037 Bump my car, will ya, b*&^%??!!

Why do people still insist on writing checks? Especially when the Wal-Mart associate is saying, "Just sign it. The computer will fill out the rest." Nooooo..........they gotta fill it all out themselves. It's one thing if I was buying groceries at the main registers. It's another when I'm buying insulin at the pharmacy register.

Oh, and I hope it's alright with the folks that want handmade products in mass produced product time that I'm sitting down to eat some breakfast
  9. I guess it's too late to wish you a good day, huh?

I hope the rest of it turns out all right.

If I place my order now, can it be shipped by this afternoon? :D :happy102
  10. Me, too. That's why I came here to vent. Y'all know how to make a girl laugh.
For 50 extra dollars, sure. :happy088
  11. umm, have a great day?? :D
seriously, it seems like people's mindset changes in drive-thrus, as if they're no longer willing to obey traffic laws, regulations, and plain ole common courtesy - oh wait, I didn't mean drive thrus, I meant everywhere

as for checks - when I do write a check, I have carbon copies, so I have to fill it out, but since I rarely use checks (begrudgingly), it's not so much an issue, particularly at places like Wal Mart, since they run the check basically as a debit card anyway, so why waste it?

and I don't think anyone with a modicum of common sense would expect hand-made products in mass-production time. If they do, Wham! Bang! Pow! Right in the kisser!
  12. I hope that's laughed with and not laughed at! :D :happy102

That's all? ;) For $75 can I have it hand delivered?
  13. Good morning/afternoon everyone! This weekend was pretty nice at work. I didn't sleep last night and have reached the point of near delirium, but I don't have to work til Friday, so I'll take it. And to add to the good vibes I got going, my shave was wonderful. The more I use my Merkurs, the more I really like them.
  14. Saturday afternoon it was pouring the rain 'round Morganhole way. I was sitting at a stoplight at an intersection notorious for accidents. There was already one wrecked car by the side of the road with a cop behind it. In the traffic lane next to them was an SUV and a station wagon. I looked up at the light for a moment then back at the police car. In front of the station wagon was a pile of debris that wasn't there a moment before. He'd whacked the SUV in the back. That's a yield lane, not a lighted lane, so the station wagon driver must've though the SUV driver was gonna go. He didn't.
  15. No kidding. No one on the road for miles, except the guy in my blind spot.

My thought exactly. If it's for balancing your account purposes, why not just keep the receipts in one place, and use them? Anytime I have used checks, I have them filled out except for the amount, while I'm waiting ion line.

    If only it twas true.

    Either way, I'm happy. :D

No, that's a $100 charge, based on your location.
  16. I hope breakfast was yummy and that you're getting a few quality moments with your favorite cuppa whatever afterwards. Car bumping b*&^%'s need to be photographed with pictures published on the interenet. I'll bet she had an incredibly intelligent look on her face when you first saw her, post bump.

So, do you know why cannibals won't eat clowns? <wait for it> Because they taste funny.

Hope the rest of your day is mo betta!

Oh, and thanks for shipping my order today! Hope it doesn't come with a sample of angst :D
  17. Uggghhhh.....

I passed a car that was totaled, surrounded by a couple police cars, and up the side of hill on my way home Saturday. Saw tire marks in the left lane, veering to the right lane. Not sure if they belonged to that car, but they were in just about the right place for where the car was, if they had smacked right into the hill straight on. And the car sure looked they had.
  18. Indeed it was. Coffee always gets quality time with me. ;)

    Indeed she did.

    :happy097

You know, for a split second I thought about bumping your's and Pam's orders back a few spots cause I have so many people complaining. And I knew you 2 would understand. But I said, No, that ain't right, JoAnna. Tom and Pam's orders are the next in line. Why should they wait cause some people are impatient?
  19. Ok, back to the old grindstone for this gal.

Thanks for the well wishes, and for listening to my rants, guys! :agelic13
  20. How about $75 and dinner? Something on the grill? Ribs? Beer Can Chicken? Ribeye? nom nom nom....it's lunch time and that just made me realize it!

    That's awesome. You rock! ::git
