1. Somewhere, a cracked out meth head whispers to a sidewalk. "Wouldn't it be cool if someone made a DE razor with lube strips?"

The answer, of course, is "Hell no!" Doesn't really matter, since someone went ahead and did it.

It's actually not a terrible looking razor, but lube strips, really? Half of the reason I switched to DE razors was to get away from the slimy things.

They also sell it with the stand too.

(I got to admit, I really do like that stand).

Edit: They also make (made?) a version without the lube strips, so they are not completely crazy.

  6. I read that the lube strips are replaceable. too. That's good since they have to dissolve to make their slime. Assuming the lube strip refills are a proprietary item only available from the razor manufacturer. I couldn't find those listed as a separate item, or any clue how much they cost.

  8. From the listing:
"The RS-18 is another category then bare-bone safety razors that offer no lubrication while shaving."

I try to give innovators a fair shake, but I expect someone who's selling a luxury product to know how to use prepositions and spell "than." If the copy is from the retailer... Well, I don't know whether that's more plausible or not. It's on both the BG and Neiman Marcus version of the listing, so it passed through a lot of hands unedited in any case.
  9. The listing apparently cannot differentiate between time and comparison.

  13. I'm as big a believer as the rest of you in It's Worth Whatever Somebody Will Pay For It, but those prices are an indication of how stupid they think wetshavers can be. The yellow cartridge razor set alone is proof.

  14. Ya think!
    Crazy stuff!
Now if someone could make a blade that last a very long time????
I can see myself getting into that one.

....... so when the guy at the lumber yard ask the woman how long they needed the 2x4's she said " a really long time, we're gonna build a house with them"....
    Well....

  17. That said, the OP's use of those addicted to methamphetamines is in very poor taste. Addictive disorders is not a sign of stupidity or ignorance.

  18. Too bad they were clearly methin' around with the lube strips because I think it looks really good. For the dollhairs though, they are clearly high on something.
