November 2019 30 Day Rule/Focus Pix & Discussion

For the record....I'm NOT a morning person, hence the numerous cups of coffee this early . Even after my Dad retired , he always was up early every morning. Get used to it I guess.

 

i've been there ,was a night owl for most of my younger years but still worked at 8.30..not much sleep sometimes..coffee is most important..

Had no problem getting back on the focus-train this morning, indeed I was glad to be back aboard.
The 48 hours of down-time did nothing to hinder MWF's ability to get loaded (LOL) and lather.
Built a stupendous lather "on the puck", using Nathan's Shiny Lather method.
MWF will never get the sheen of B&M or Eufros or Stirling, but will maintain its integrity
and morph into a super-slick base and very protective.
Aside from straights, nothing needs more protection than my 2011 Mühle R41. Mos def©.
Loaded said razor with a oft-used Wilkinson Chromium blade. The actual number of shaves on this blade
are unknown to me; certainly more than 15. Three passes and two minuscule weepers later,
I was left with an excellent shave, worthy of a night out with Dr. Mrs. Primo.
Side note: I noticed yesterday that received her first letter addressed with her new title.
One large splash of the Small Batch Shave Tonic completed the tonsorial ritual.​

 

Nice shave and that us a great looking brush!

 

OK. I'll be interested in your view of the A.S., given that I've had my issues with it(not the smell, the feel.). And of course, given your profession .

Good job, Paul. I don't worry about every single hair either. It just grows back anyway and the chance of irritation isn't worth it. Indeed, when I don't try so hard, my results are always better.

 

Same here . As the years go by I dont usually burn the candle at both ends as much.

 

good morning gents,saturday morning shave..up today is the beautiful 1958 brit rhodium tv flaretip,loaded with a spoiler.ap shave co tuxedo did a fine job with the tabac soap.2+ combination passes later nothing but smooth bbs left..awesome..fantastic saturday scent.with tabac go all in or nothing. aftershave,deodorant ,cologne to finish..full on granny's handbag..awesome.have a fine day everyone..
