  5. Nice Sandpiper shave, Gary! What a great scent. I enjoyed catching whiffs of it most of the day yesterday. I spritzed on a little of the Stirling Sandpiper EdT (I have a sample bottle) and coupled with the aftershave I was smelling quite nice.

  6. Excellent shaves, gents!

I'm going to be lazy and skip a day. But, i test lathered my new pine&menthol soap (more like a cream in a jar) and my first impressions were very good. Good, not quite eye-watering, amount of menthol, nice pine scent on the background and the lather was very slick. Can't wait till i can shave with it.

  7. Thank you, Perry!

I'm not good at describing scents but I really like this one. Here's the PAA website description:

"Malbolge is teeming with woody and aromatic accords while a subtle undercurrent of sweetness flows alive underneath. A scent so enchanting it has to be up to something clever!
Blood Orange and Bergamot bleed like electricity into a beating heart note of Black Pepper and Benzoin Resin along with Licorice (Star Anise) and Burnt Sugar. All this set against a backdrop of base notes like Patchouli, Dark Musk & Tobacco.
This classic Autumn blend is perfect for men looking for just a touch of something different this Fall Season...though I bet you reach for it all year long!"
  8. good morning Perry, thank you.it is a great scent ,and at present a true favorite.very classy and not loud..lasts a long time on me as well which is a feature i like on an edt.stays similar throughout its cycle, smooth..have a fine day sir..:)..

  16. Good Sunday morning all.
See things are moving right along here.
This morning's shave was another switch from November blade trials, sorta.
I received the (new??) Gillette razor on Tuesday, sat it on the counter, then forgot I had it. During coffee I seen a cardboard box, hey my new razor! Well......
So this morning's shave was nice, smooth and ok clean. I used the blades that came with it and went to work. 2 passes and a clean up on the face. Slight resistance on the first pass, the second and clean up were fine. The gord was ok, no great tugging or pulling, more resistance than I like. 2 passes and a clean up, I'm not as close as I like, but it's an ok job.
The face is ok, the head about the same, a go to work in the fields kinda shave.
The razor is a good looking thing, a 3 piece with good fitting blade.
If you bought this for a present, you did great. Myself, it's a tad more efficient than a TTO super speed. Glad I got it, next time a Feather blade.
If you like a GEM MMOC, Monobilt, or something down that path, you'll probably go, ho hum. If like most, your the super speed kind, it will serve you well.
