    November 17 SOTD:

    Razor: Gillette Diplomat
    Blade: Polsilver
    Brush: Frank Shaving Pur-Tech
    Lather: PAA Malbolge
    Aftershave: PAA Malbolge

I had a terrific shave this morning. I definitely prefer the CK-6 base to the CK-1. Maybe not quite enough to justify the price difference in my opinion, but it is definitely better. This scent is very late fall to me. I get a berry scent from it, almost a cranberry, which is odd in that it isn't listed in the description. It must be the blood orange. Definitely some nice tobacco, musk, and a bit of a woodsy scent. It has a sweetness to it as well. It is wonderful scent that just feels like fall. I hope everyone has a great day!

Nice relaxing Sunday morning shave while the family is still in bed. The Senator is new to me. Nice shaver but more mild than I was expecting. Ended up needing a full 3 passes plus some cleanup to get to BBS. I've learned a few things about my shaving preferences this month. I like to feel the blade on my skin and is I don't I tend to press until I do. This means I actually get more irritation with less aggressive razors. If I think about it I do okay, but forget for a sec and I pay later.

Also, yesterday was a fun day. I do most of my own vehicle maintenance, because I enjoy it. My son usually helps like most children help, making the job take 2 or 3 times as long. But he's finally getting the idea. I still have to give him step by step instructions and step in when more strength is required, but he's figuring it out. Proud pop.
