Shave is about the same as the C3, apparently my technique is improving since I can bang out the same shave as with a B1 now on these razors. Last up for the magazine razors is the C1 slated for tomorrow.

Beautiful razor. I want to get one but just lost a bid on one on the bay even though I entered a higher bid with time left on the clock. I don't get how that works.

Had a great shave today with a new to me Ever-Ready 1914 little lather catcher. Also new to me is the Tabac soap and the Treet blade. I switched the Treet out for a Gem blade but look forward to trying it in other razors.
I used the JA Henkels a bit just to try to stay in practice.

    The Grosvenor [404-mixed ]
    Cyril Salter Solid soap
    Schick Golden 500
    Schick "Chick" [ 2 ]
    Massimo Dutti A/S Lotion

I always have a good smooth Shave with the Golden 500. However, after using an "O" Clone it took a lot more time to get a similar quality finish.

    Cold Water Rinse
    Fine Snake Bite
    Jayaruh #41
    Schick 66 G-4
    Schick Proline
    CWR
    Osage Rub

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Fine Snake Bite Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #41 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Schick 66 G-4 razor with a Schick Proline blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
