Great Monday morning! Limited on time, gotta rush this. Did my normal 2 and clean up on the head and face. Used a different blade, never used this type before. Won't be using it again either, I'll pif them away to a guy that has fluff for whiskers. Took longer than normal because of the time shaving. These are barley useable for me, even in this razor. Not a good shave, but off to work anyway. Head and face feel like 400 grit sand paper... They get a 6 ..... Well... Everyone! Enjoy! tp
Thank you, Jim! Thanks, Joe! Thank you, Gary! Terrific picture, Jim! Congrats on the new software! Sorry the blade didn't work out for you. Hopefully the rest of your Monday goes better. Thanks, Clint!
SOTD November 18, 2019 Prep: Cold water and PAA Cube pre-shave soap Blade: Kai Captain Mild Razor: RazoRock Black Hawk Brush: Sapele beehive badger Soap: Soap Commander Drive Post: Witch hazel, Fine L'Orange Noir aftershave My cold was much worse yesterday and has spread farther than just my head. Oh well. It happens. At least the shave was good this morning. Just did one pass with a little clean-up on my chin. That's good enough for today. I plan to make it through the best I can and come straight home and rest this afternoon. Enjoy your day!
Nice picture, Jim! Do you have Stirling Spice? Wonder how it compares with the original and against Cold Spices.
So sorry you're not feeling well, Perry. I hope the day goes smoothly and quickly for you. Thank you!
I have the Stirling Spice SS and I would say it isn't as close to the original OS as some would think. Mind you, I am relying on my memory of a scent that I haven't smelled in 40+ yrs. The classic Old Spice had a "peppery" note(anise?) while the Stirling soap does not. Disclaimer: I have only smelled the Stirling Spice off the puck and haven't shaved with it. The soap has a nice scent.
