Yes I do enjoy it, slickness is reasonable and cushion or stiffness of lather is good. To lather the croap is easy and scent is just wonderful IMO. The dead sea Aftershave is very close to the soap scent. They just had it on sale recently and to myself is worth the price even at regular pricing. Post shave is good to excellent and I like to lather in a bowl and leave the left over lather in the bowl making it one of the best air fresheners money can buy IMO (other words don't flush lather down the sink.).
    Have some great shaves!

Same shave as the C2 and C3 only difference is the comb makes for a rougher feel as it is dragged across the face.

A simple touch up is all that was needed today. I'm really liking this razor. And the soap performs quite well.

    Schick Twin -Japan [2 ]
    Tabac A/S Lotion

After a rather disappointing Shave yesterday, but today was a huge improvement. I am not sure why the I1 has not been in my recent rotations , as it is so good with a Twin Blade. The Shave was so smooth and comfortable, and I had no problems getting a really close all round finish up there with the best.
The compact I1 is a great Razor to try with a Twin Blade for those not so keen on longer handled Razors.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #41 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Schick 66 G-4 razor with a Schick Proline blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Schick '500' Type L9, Schick Proline B-20, shave 3
    L9d.jpg L9e.jpg

This is one far as I know was never produced or sold in the US. Even though it is model '500' razor like the J3 and J4 razors, that is all that it shares in common with them. It shaves nothing like a J3 or J4 and everything like a Type L3 Schick Stick. Even the Lady Eversharp L4 which is the same style as this razor is much more efficient and aggressive of a shaver. I plan to test this against a few other razors to double check this. As an aside I did something I almost never do except when a soap runs out. I changed up the soap and brush going from a badger to a Kent VS-30 pure bristle brush and Williams puck soap both which I haven't used before. The brush was nice and soft for a pure bristle aka boar brush and the soap lathered really well, much better than Van der Hagen puck soaps.
