Thanks, Perry! My greatest struggle as I accumulate more shaving tools and being an old retired fart, is deciding which razor to use each morning. I’m really enjoying this hobby!

 

A note on Wet Shaving Products aftershave:

I bought a sample of the Tobacco aftershave from Wet Shaving Products in an attempt to find a replacement scent for Jeeves Tobacco Bay Leaf. The WSP Tobacco scent is very nice and quite close to Jeeves. However, I'm disappointed with longevity of scent. It's about three hours after application and the scent is gone. Totally gone. Not a whiff to be found anywhere. That's too bad.

I don't want to be the loud scent guy and never strive for that, but it is nice to catch a little leftover aftershave scent throughout the day. WSP seems to wear off in no time.

That is great news Dale. Those sorts of injuries seem to take forever to heal.

 

Kirk and Kyle Evans really know how to build a razor! I’m really enjoying their new Silversmith. The General is a great razor! Kyle Evans tells me that their General V2 is a significant improvement on V1.

The General is a great razor. I might look at a V2 at some point.

 

It’s a real shame, Mark, that OneBlade reengineered their V2 razors to make it more difficult to use Gem blades.
