    Thanks Clint!

So...basically overload the brush so much that it has to release lather. Hmm....I'll give it a try tomorrow. I thought I already was a brush overloader nearly every day. Usually enough for a pass or two more. The knot this morning...should have grabbed an image, seemed like it was bloomed into nearly a half globe of badger lather before squeezing it out. The bowl was nearly half full (and it's one of the Symmetrical Pottery monstrosities).

:signs011: squared. Wholly Kaw also, and a few of the long standing manufacturers' aftershaves (ToBS, Proraso, Cella, Clubman :innocent) all seem to have good aroma longevity for me.

Thank you for the kind words Perry!

Thanks Daniel! I'll give it a couple more tries....

It's all your doing Jim! The master of color coordination :smiley respect:. I've been searching since I pulled the trigger on the razor (even before it was shipped :o).

    Thanks so much Ken!

    Sincerely appreciated Jim!

That brush is a stunner, Jim! Yaqi is making handles cheaper than I can pour the resin.
Great shave, Dale. I’ve never heard of that splash. A fave?
Congrats on the brush! It sounds like a winner, Terry.
You promise no new soaps? Riiiihggghhhtttt...:happy097:
    Very nice again, Gary.
Sorry to hear the splash isn’t meeting your expectations, Perry. Great sounding shave, though.
Sorry to hear the brush is a shedder, Joe.
Hope your day is going well, Clint. Love the look of that C-Mon brush!
    Love the B&W, Daniel!
    An excellent review, Danny.
    Love that brush!
    That razor sounds outstanding, Jeff.
There’s no room for bad soap, Evan!
Sorry to hear about the knot, Blair. The handle looks cool.
You’ll get that Cooper dialed in, tout suite, Rick.

I ordered another Yaqi brush during the 11/11 sale on Aliexpress. Two band badger for twelve bucks shipped from China. Probably be awhile before I get it.[IMG]

Dr. Sana Bay Rum is not bad, but I haven't used it enough to consider it a favorite. I'm not much for aftershaves and only use it once in a while. Superior 70 has been the choice for a number of years. The bodega across the street from work, stopped carrying Superior 70 and had this in its place last time I needed to re-up. It is essentially the same thing, a light bay scent alcoholado with a slightly darker color than the Superior 70. The color could also be a product of age as my stock of superior 70 was getting pretty old since I purchased a case of it the last time I bought aftershave. If the store still has this when I finish the bottle, I will buy it again.

Thanks, Bill! I just completed shave #13 this morning. I wasn't much of a fan of Stirling's Sandalwood, but it has grown on me since I started this challenge.

Thanks, Jason! I really can't complain about the brush because I won a Stirling gift card so I didn't cost me a penny. The brush is $9.50 so I knew the quality was not going to be great. However, my Omega 49 was under 10 dollars so I guess you can say that I am spoiled. Lol

    Razor: Supply SE 2.0
    Blade: Schick (1)
Brush: Simpson LE Jade Los Tres Amigos
Soap: Route 66 Retro Spice Aftershave: Aftershave:Fresh Lime Bowl:
Bowl: Boise Mud Works LE Olive Drab

Many thanks to Guy (@ram57) for an amazing razor. The Simpson Tres Amigo LE Jade Synthetic is an incredible piece of gear. I admit it did take me a little time to dial it in, but once I did, "WOW".
The Route 66 Retro Spice there version of the original, timeless Old Spice classic first introduced by Shulton in 1936. Top notes of orange, sage and lemon over a lightly spiced floral heart and a base of vanilla, cedarwood, frankincense, tonka and musk. Masculine, clean and refreshing. Long lasting, slick lather protective cushion and glide soothing post shave conditioning. Great soap. Old Spice Fresh was a great finish to an outstanding shave.
The LE Boise Mud Works bowl is one of my best.
