    Was it @Terry who had issues with the Ladas blades? Worked well for me on first use. Took three passes, and did my regular clean up fiddling, but got my regular results. DFS or better, nearly smooth neck, no blood, quiet alum. Now I'm off to gather a granddaughter for a dentist appointment.

    I don't consider Ladas among my favorites but definitely serviceable. I wonder if @Terry got a dud.

    Well, I primarily use DE safety razors for my headshaves and primarily straight/shavettes for my face shaves. As you can see, I don't have a problem using 2 different razors for the two tasks. Therefore, just use the Rex for face shaves and another razor for headshaves. If you weren't a headshaver, you probably would say that Rex is a great shaver. Some razors are not good at getting headshaves, but give awesome face shaves.

    You’re right! Now that I’ve got the Rex dialed in for my face, and it does deliver a great BBS level 2 pass face shave for me at 5 on the dial, I’ll just continue to use the Vector for my dome shaves.

    Hmm. Perhaps the locking mechanism is getting stuck before pulling down the top cap all the way. Can you tighten the knob further without the top cap in place? Maybe try putting a drop of oil down the barrel and working the TTO knob back and forth

    Looks like the name changed....when I search any of that name, it pulls Son of Clown Fruit. Hmm. Sample time for next order! ;)
