Btw, your enabling (as well as your namesake partner in crime @jluc and your fellow Texas henchman @b1hart) has worked. Topofthechain got the Et Tu in today, in both soap and splash. Ordered both, and now am trying to determine what will exit the den ‘stage right’.

 

Nice reboot on the shave, Terry! I happen to like the Voskhod blades.

 

That is honestly a favorite scent. I hope you like it, too. I am strongly debating getting the EDP of that one and a couple of others.

Thought I'd report in on a surprising finding this morning.

I'd noticed on my 4th shave with the new Feather DX with a Feather Pro that cutting was fading similar to a DE shavette. On this shave it was worse. So much that my 3rd pass which is ATG fell short. So I picked up the Supply 2-dot w/Schick Proline (5) for some touch up. Just an awesome finish!

Doesn't say much for the Feather, but volumes for the Supply/Proline combo.

Think I'll see how the Feather Super Professionals do. I'm going to alternate shavette shaves for a Feather DX w/Super Pro vs Focus R21 Evolution plastic doodad barbering tool w/GSB ThrowDown. That'll carry me into December. Time is flying.

I'd be interested in hearing how well you guys with the Artist Club type safety razors do on longevity.

 

To answer your question, Bill- I get 7 shaves or so from a Feather Pro in a safety razor.

I had to catch up, great shaves, pics and reports everyone!
No shave day for me. I had to break out the coconut oil because my skin is way too dry. It seems to help quite a lot.

I get six three pass shaves from AC blades. I think we had this conversation on the thread before. My results were on the low end of the number of shaves.
