Thank you Blair. I am so glad I snagged the disco brush off the BST.

Thank you Perry. Maybe I should not have used a Feather for the maiden voyage.

Thank you Jim. This plate and base combo has more blade feel than the Timeless 0.95 OC had.

    Thank you Paul.

This base plate combo is not an overly aggressive setup but it does have a lot of blade feel.

    Thank you Joe.

Kiritimati is an excellent scent. When I received it I was kinda meh about it off the puck. I really came to appreciate it once lathered and combined with the aftershave.

I considered getting a backup soap and aftershave once. I then came to my senses. I'm guessing it'll be years before I finish a soap.

Thanks. I like him even though I call him a jerk. Anyone that knows chihuahuas knows that most of them are grumpy jerks. :)

@jgreenepa, Jeff, Here is the video by Jared of WCS comparing the different mentholated soaps and relative strengths. Later in the video, he lathers Chiseled Face Cryogen to experience and review it. It is a nine minute video so you may want to cut to where he is introducing Cryogen and then lathering it.

Congrats on finishing the MWF. On the Cooper, is it possible that the spring steel is putting pressure on the cap and pressing it up a bit? Look in from the non-hinge side to see if the spring is pressing on the underside of the cap or not when the cap is closed. If you push down on the spring while the cap is closed, does the gap issue correct itself?

    Razorock SC - Blue Fougère
    Jason BRM w/TGN 28mm Silvertip
Drew Dick 7/8 Damascus Steel - Green Kirinite
    Razorock AS - Blue Fougère

Star of today's shave -> @jtspartan's mixed media handle received from his drawing last month. Blue Resin, Maple wood (as @Linuxguile coined BRM). It's gorgeous. Took way too long getting a knot for it.....work & life getting in the way. Received the TGN knot yesterday...straight to work. Shimmed a ~3mm, used Gorilla Glue's silicone sealer. 14 hours later, short baby shampoo wash, a couple lathers this morning for defunking, and went after it. This knot is an absolute dream, even on it's first use. Overwhelmingly impressed. Wonderful to lather with, excellent face feel, just a little backbone, easily releasing thick slick RR SC results. Jason's handle....incredible craftsmanship as you can see. A joy to hold and use, the sizing and shape is perfection. I look forward to using this beauty for many years to come. Wifey thinks it's one of the coolest in my meager (but slowly growing) inventory. Thank you Jason!

Oh...yeah, today's shave. It was a nice 3 pass DFS+ result. The Razorock Blue Fougère SC and AS is a favorite, to my nose it's an upfront fragrance on the powdery, slightly spicy side of the fougère aftershave splashes. Kind of like ToBS is to the many varieties of sandalwood.

Hope everyone has a Fantastic Friday!

Followed up yesterday's subpar effort with a decent 2 pass'er with this MMOC. The razor worked well, but the soap is just ok. Nicely scented, but the tallow base from Strop Shoppe is quite a bit better, imho. The lather looks the part, but just doesn't have the same quality as most all of my main rotation. Mos Def (Copyright @Primotenore) a candidate to be moved out when my PAA Et Tu arrives. The Zenith in the BSM (Copyright @Linuxguile) handle shed 2 hairs as well...first time for that. Not sure what happened there.
The Fine splash was a nice way to end.
Have a great day all and lets get through Friday unscathed!
