    It’s a good shaver, but a bit milder than I prefer. It does feel good in the hand! There are a few vintages I enjoy shaving with. My Gillette New Standard, my Eclipse Red Ring, my Ever Ready Streamline, and my Barbasol Floating Head. I’m currently waiting on the arrival of a Jones Shake Sharp and a Cooper Monobilt. Both of the latter are purportedly mid aggressive shavers. I’ll wait and see.

    Thank you, Jason! We're driving down to the in-laws this afternoon and evening. It's nice to be off! Tomorrow Alice and I are going to the football game at The University of Southern Mississippi (our alma mater) and seeing two of my former students in their final marching band performance. One of those kids is the head drum major and is very close to us. Then on to a week of good meals and relaxation.

    I've bought a few of them (Aqua Velva, Skin Bracer, Brut) and ended up throwing them away. Alice doesn't like any of those, that's for sure. At least they're inexpensive because that money has been wasted.

    I had a sample of Clubman from a traveling box pass-around once. The sample was enough for me to eliminate ever purchasing a bottle.

    Thank you Jason. The head does look like a take on the DJ89 head but this base plate takes it to another level. The head is SS and had a few small scratches when delivered. I polished the top plate to remove the scratches.
