    I'm taking some days off from work, so this morning's shave was in the late morning. I was able to be lazy and take my time even more than usual. 3 passes. Got a few weepers and went to my alum block-then witch hazel before my aftershave splash and balm. Everything came out solid and the shave-saving tools worked their magic. Alum works for the weepers and cuts. In rare cases of razor-burn I turn to talc, but luckily there was no major irritation.

    Gibbs Normal/BIC (1). In anticpation and consideration of the new Razor Emporium release, giving the original a spin. Excellent shave, plenty of blade feel even on minus side. A few pick ups but very enjoyable. As usual I prefer the shave here to the Gibbs Adjustable. [​IMG]

    I loaded the blade into this razor 2 years ago and have had only a handful of shaves with it as it feels strange using a twin blade in what is to me ......a single blade razor!
    The 2 passes gave a really superb result. (I know it was 2 years as the first time I used it was the weekend my wife and I got engaged!)
