Brush:- WCS Two-Tone Tall (Blue & White) Extra Dense Synth. 26/56mm knot
Soap/Cream:- Barrister & Mann ~ Fougere Angelique (Limited Edition)
Razor/Blade:- RazoRock MJ-90A / Gillette Silver Blue #4
Post/After-shave: T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10) & Peppermint (10 drops)
Fragrance:- L'Eau Bleue D'issey Pour Homme

 

Thanks Gary. The jury is still out on the Durham, not the closest shave but I did not want to push it with that big head and thick blade this morning. It was only the first time using it so I will need to get used to this razor and blade.

Such a nice shave, especially compared to yesterday's Lightfoot's craptacular sorry excuse for a shaving soap shave. You can get better lather from Marvy. Makes a nice body soap in the shower. Guess how I know.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #313 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher razor with a Henckels Wedge blade. It was not as close as I would like, so I did a clean up pass with my Schick G and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Cella After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Saturday SOTN (I fell asleep and forgot to post it!)

A fresh blade and a new cream for me tonight. I posted over in "the Haul" but I received two new shaving creams from across the pond. This sandalwood scent is very captivating and it lathers like a champ. A very smooth shave and great scents all around. Happy shaves!
