Yes, I can use a Pain Stick as well, but don't reach for it very often either. Used it enough that I don't filet myself anymore...

One of our in house webby guys can offer opinions, but I guess it was the time it takes to copy the whole of TSD database from one hard drive to another.

Had a Vega stationwagon. Not a bad little ride, it served for toting the wife and kids around. While teaching the (now Ex) wife to drive, she swung wide on a turn, whacked a high curb, and bent the frame. Cost me less putting fresh A78-13 tires on it than getting the frame straightened.

Having been a Ford fan for ever, I've thought about building a Pinto. That toad like shape, beef up the suspension, and a modern V-6 powerplant mated to a six speed manual tranny could be fun.

The Van Der Hagen was about 10 bucks if I remember correctly. Nice shave once I started ignoring the fact that it rattles.

I'm excited to see your new toy.

Good afternoon, guys! Glad that TSD is back online!

Well, I performed this shave at 6:10 am, but due to the temporary TSD downtime, I am now reporting it.
Everything went well for a nice comfortable smooth shave without any drama. I would rate the shave an IBSS+. I did 2.5 passes, but I just didn't want to chase the baby. Last night, I had stropped my razor and decided to keep the brush soaking in water until this morning to save time. I timed my shave. At a relaxing pace, it took 15 min. My record is 11 min. Anyway, I finished the shave in the usual manner. So, if I include stropping, and prep time, then I would say the total time would be 20 min. I need 13 more shaves to complete this challenge.
    Have a great day guys! 20191120_202559.jpg 20191120_202559.jpg

Nice shave, Jim! The VDH TTO is my least favorite razor in my den. However, it is a good travel razor.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I like the look of the Pinto.
Are you familiar with the european Escort MK2? My dad had a modified one when i was a kid. 2.0 engine, around 180hp. Which doesn't really sound like all that much, but the car weighed under 1800lbs.
